Toopy and Binoo
Toopy and Binoo is a Canadian cartoon TV series based on the children’s books written by French Canadian author Dominique Jolin. The series was created to inspire children to expand their imagination and creativity. The series can be seen on Treehouse over 40x per week, 7 days a week and is the top rated program for kids 2-11. It also airs on TÉLÉ-QUÉBEC over 20x per week, 7 days a week and is the top rated program for kids 2-5.
Toopy is a mouse that wears a red shirt with yellow stripes. Toopy is the main character of the show and together with his best friend Binoo, get into all sorts of silly, irrelevant adventures.The CD is inspired by the new live Koba production ‘Marshmallow Moon’. Toopy is the only one who talks. He has this positive outlook to everything and a silly, crazy laugh. Binoo is a tiny plush cat with a long tail and a pink nose who carries a green stuffed doll named Patchy Patch.
For his stage debut, Toopy has to not only find the perfect song to sing, but he also has to find the perfect place to perform it!As Toopy and his best friend Binoo embark on their most important musical quest ever, they encounter a Blue Cat Blues Band, a Loud Mouth Crooner Fish, some Rock n’ Roll Sheep, a pair of Love Struck Dragons and many other zany characters along the way.
